Review of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018) by Chris W — 16 Nov 2018

I have read many of the negative reviews and it is clear to me that most critics are not well versed in the world of Harry Potter. Yes you need to know the lore pretty well in order to fully appreciate the complexity of this story.

All told, I think it is a well crafted piece of film that will easily be remembered as the brilliant set up for what will be an epic climax to this saga. If you find yourself confused, rewatch the movies and reread the books.

Then rewatch this and the well constructed puzzle pieces will begin to fall in place.
