It suffers somewhat from being the middle movie. All the characters have to do interesting things to keep it going, but they have to save all the bombs for the final movie, leaving everything feeling a bit hum drum and forced.

as expected of a movie titled 'Fantastic Beasts', the beasts we do see are well done, and the 'Crime of Grindlewald' is that we don't see enough of them.
