Review of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018) by Steven V — 19 Nov 2018
The Crimes of Grindelwald is passable. Too many characters and storylines with little development, and questionable character and plot decisions. The film plays out like a Harry Potter wiki page turned into a 134-minute film, and that's not necessarily a good thing.
Still has enjoyable and interesting moments, great visuals and music, and good performances across the board. It ain't bad, but it's probably the weakest HP Wizarding World film.
