Review of Far from the Madding Crowd (2015) by Tiyana W — 22 Feb 2017
Am I missing something??? Not only did I NOT care for the protagonist, Bathsheba; I thought the men pursuing her were basically self-masochists. Nothing in her character (besides her looks) was worthy of her first two suitors, and third...well, she almost had it coming (though he was a prick with his own issues).
If this is people's idea of romance these days, then count me OUT. (Gorgeous soundtrack, though!).
