Review of Fast Five (2011) by John B — 25 Oct 2018
The best of the sequels by some margin, though still mediocre overall. This instalment isn't taking itself that seriously, and one has to respect the willingness and gusto with which the movie inflicts ridiculous amounts of physical destruction, and with far less obvious computer generated effects than the preceding one.
Interestingly, this one is no longer a street racing movie, it's a heist movie (constructed using parts from Ocean's 11 and the Italian Job remake) that uses cars.
