Review of Fear Street: 1666 (2021) by Flyingpiloswine — 21 Jul 2021
A unique take on some established tropes, plenty of that old school flair that begs for you to cuddle up with a massive bowl, and maybe a bag of popcorn. Plays by the rules established in the fictitious universe.
A very satisfying ending. It isn't necessarily scary, but its an entertaining and exciting flick with some creepy vibes and a jump scare or two. Fans of Stranger Things will enjoy this trilogy for sure.
Also, you can lol at all the fragile egos in the reviews screeching about the oppression of white men and christianity. This movie isn't "woke," either. It's just about non-reproductive love.
