Review of Felidae (1994) by Harry M — 17 Feb 2014
I understand that previous reviewers have already said this, but I'll say it again, for good measure: This movie IS NOT FOR KIDS. Seriously, I'm not joking when I say that this is the most disturbing animated movie I have ever watched.
But I don't regret it, as it is also one of the best animated movies I have ever watched. Whilst containing some very disturbing images (especially for cat-lovers), strong language, gore and even a sex scene, Felidae boasts excellent animation, superb voice acting, a gripping plot and interesting characters.
A must-see for anyone who enjoys a good murder mystery, except this time told from the viewpoint of a tomcat called Francis.
