One of the weirdest animated features I've ever seen. And it's also really good! 'Felidae' is a noir crime thriller about talking cats. After moving into a house with his owner, Francis begins to explore his new home while meeting other cats in the neighborhood.
When one of his neighbors is brutally murdered Francis feels obligated to track down the killer. This ain't the 'Aristocats' folks. 'Felidae' is pure insanity. It includes horrifically bloody murders, violent cat fights, cults of cats, a sex scene (yep, involving cats, and completely unnecessary) and a bizarre plan to breed a species of cats who are genetically superior to humans.
I love this movie, but I understand why it's not to everyone's liking.
