I didn't like this movie mainly because the main character was not too likable. I felt Denzel W. overacted in the beginning of the movie but was astounded by the quality of Viola Davis's acting.
Felt too much like a play to me - for instance I would have liked it if they showed the club where the older son played his music. Or watch the younger son playing football. etc.
