4/5★ Bollywood has many variations, but they mostly stay within excepted conventions. Finding Fanny breaks those conventions and brings Wes Anderson style quirkiness to Bollywood.
There is a studied quietness, in contrast to the constant frenzy in Bollywood films. The cinematography is all pastel and natural light, the cast, for the most part, restrained. The films is by no means perfect, but it is charming.
