Review of Fires on the Plain (1959) by Toronto D — 08 Aug 2009
An absolutely dismal view of humanity descending into a state of desperation. Inevitably, humans become mere beasts when faced with starvation and certain death, which is graphically demonstrated by this film.
If you can handle the horrors of war, this movie will show you the worst of them.
