Where to start... a film that even the talent of Claire Foy couldn't save.
Unlike the moon this movie falls...flat. Playing stoic and serious works brilliantly when contrasted with the emotional highs that can frame that performance in contrast. This film however is one single note- for over two hours. Mellow drama aside, shaky handheld camera work, overused and out of focus close ups, combined with uninteresting lighting choices make this film an unenjoyable, lackluster ride that lasts waaaaay too long.
