It's remarkable in many different ways ; First up , it has to top Hanks, IT DOES. The Armstrong back story develops his resistance to grief very sympathetically. The loss of life to get to the "end game" is wonderfully told, with warts and all.
I seriously think Gosling may be very close with this one.
