Review of First Man (2018) by Kevin P — 25 Dec 2018
Visually striking, First Man is a technical high-point for director Damien Chazelle. The problem with the great technology, is that its depressing story of Neil Armstrong feels empty and quite a choir to get though.
Even Ryan Gosling and Claire Foy don't get much room to shine, which normally is Chazelle strength as a storyteller.
