Review of First Men in the Moon (1964) by Simon L — 21 May 2011
I remember watching this with my dad a few years back, it was channel 4 HD last week, couldn't resist. Very dated yes, still has its zany appeal that I remember from when I fist watched it. I like the whole plot of twist of when astronauts first land on the moon and discover some evidence that they are not the first and in fact somebody has been there some 60 years before they had in 1899, after that it does become a tad silly however but that aside an enjoyable watch.
