Review of First Men in the Moon (1964) by Bobby L — 26 Nov 2009
One of Ray's only movie to be played fully from camp, and it works deliriously. The set-up takes a little while, but it's a lot of fun to see these Edwardian Brits trying to figure out how to build the sphere (their rocket ship), and once they get to the moon, the sets are great as is the always quality work of the man, Harryhausen.
Loads of fun.
