Review of First Reformed (2018) by Ajzeg01 — 21 Sep 2019
This was a very interesting film! In case you don’t know, this film was written and directed by Paul Schrader who also wrote the classic films Raging Bull and Taxi Driver. This movie is about a priest who runs a small church that becomes environmentally conscious, and it just gets crazier from there.
It was very well made, with great cinematography, great performances, great dialogue, a story with lots of twists and turns, and a unique aspect ratio, of all things.
