Sure, it was based on a true story. The end result was rather lack-luster; there was nothing about the main character that made me feel sorry for him. There were also frequent, and large, time jumps. If there were any instances I should have felt sorry, then they must have skipped over those.
Also, some of the camera angles and shots left something to be desired. Anyway, while the movie had an interesting basis, I was left completely unimpressed.
