Review of Flashbacks of a Fool (2008) by Neil S — 08 Oct 2011
Flashbacks of a Fool proved to be a half-decent drama. The script was nothing overwhelming, but it bore some good messages regarding innocence and sin and how they relate to one's character. I appreciated how the film featured just one long flashback rather than multiple ones splitting the movie up.
Daniel Craig isn't one of my favourite performers but he wasn't too bad in this movie. The rest of the cast was satisfactory, but I thought that Jodhi May's performance was pretty damn good.
The dialogue was a bit plain, none of the lines really stood out to me. Overall I'd say it's nothing special but it's not complete rubbish.
