Review of For a Few Dollars More (1965) by Lawrence B — 15 Jul 2017
Sergio Leone's superb sequel to "A Fistful of Dollars"; a superior effort which trumps the original. Eastwood and Van Cleef make a memorable pairing, Volonte a chilling villain. Yet, once again, the real stars are director Leone (extending his Western re-envisioning with dazzling confidence) and his musical maestro, Ennio Morricone, both producing an even more striking and thrilling piece than last time around.
If Westerns aren't your thing, this one might just change that.
