Review of Forbidden Planet (1956) by Matt C — 15 Feb 2008
Well worth the effort even if only to analyse the influence it has had on films like Star Wars, Alien and Robocop. The story is interesting and pretty well paced (slight drop in the mid section of the film) but it's fun and harks back to a completely different era of film making.
