Stopped 15 min in. And I guess I was right given the feedback of other viewers. The exposition scene (family thanksgiving dinner gone wrong, stop at a delapitated gas station) is horribly ham-fisted and Sam Worthington's acting is atrocious.
The action that led to the little girl's fall demanded such a suspension of disbelief, that I stopped at this first twist.
