Review of Freaks (1932) by Scott R — 15 Jan 2018
I know the "freaks" in this movie have their own condition or misfortune that there dealing with in their life, but shit, some of them are pretty eerie to look at. And then the guy who is a complete vegetable, holy shit. Pretty dark when that huge guy slugged that hermaphrodite in the face. Those two blonde chick are fire. They're look so hot and scrumptious, so seductive too. That black guy who's a vegetable is a trip. Very impressive how he was able to light a cigarette.
The whole bit with the conjoined twins and the different husbands was funny. And the part when the guy kissed one, and the other one felt it. That was good. I know something bad is going to happen to that Cleopatra chick because karma is a bitch. What an evil and vindictive wench. I felt so bad for the little man, Hans.
When that midget took out that switchblade and the the torso-less guy took out the pistol, ohhh. That was great. The ending was perfect. Everything exploded. And that scene with the people crawling. That's the kind of stuff that induces nightmares. Brilliant. In the end, if you mess with a freak, you'll eventually turn into a freak.
Overall, great movie.
