Review of Freaky Friday (2003) by Dylan K — 13 Aug 2018
Freaky Friday is a film in every respect I SHOULD hate but I don't I say that because I cannot stand Lindsay Lohan. the premise is that a mother and daughter hate each other and see their own needs as more important until they literally switch bodies.
The movie's main characters start off as unlikable, but move on and learn their lesson and become better for it (like Groundhog Day). Not only that but in the end they learn a valuable lesson from living each other lives that nobody has a perfect life and we all struggle from things on a daily basis.
Also due to their mutual feelings of contempt for each other, the two leads have great chemistry because of it. This is the second remake of Freaky Friday but I haven't seen the other two all the way through but this one while not perfect (like I said the mother and daughter are horrible to each other in the beginning) i'd still give this a watch.
