Review of Free Fire (2017) by Drlowdon — 02 Mar 2018
After a brief introduction involving an arms deal that goes wrong Free Fire is essentially one long gun fight, unfortunately it’s not really all that entertaining. Starring the likes of Cillian Murphy, Brie Larson and Sharlto Copley (from the excellent District 9) things start off well enough but the movie never really goes anywhere, or even really escalates proceedings all that much, and after a while the endless shooting all becomes a bit dull.
