Review of From Dusk Till Dawn (1996) by Javier H — 28 Aug 2015
With excellent dialogues and a witty script, the first half of the movie is set in a Tarantinoesque environment before the big twist follows a bloody, vampire-hunting gore flick. In the end, the first half is the best part of the whole adventure, but on the second half things get so violent, (literally) visceral and messy that it ends up resembling a Metal Slug level.
Which is awesome on the one hand but inconsistent on the other. Great music and setting though.
