Review of Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus (2006) by Lee B — 07 Jan 2011
This may well be the most original biopic, or perhaps I should say anti-biopic that I have ever seen. Through Fur, Robert Downey Jr. and especially Nicole Kidman both put on show stealing performances.
Fur is a very unique and odd tilm, but that's part of it's strength. Steven Shainberg's direction is strong and the writing is perfect leading to a great conclusion. A real gem.
