Review of Genius (2016) by Tony W — 25 Jul 2017

The critics did not like this biopic, but I really did. Two Academy Award winners and Jude Law in a role so different from his usual characters that it was 15 minutes into the film before I recognized him.

I loved the script and direction, the production values and art direction were wonderful and it made me interested in authors I usually avoid, since the 19th century is my favorite literary period. But this movie impressed me as being top notch.
