Review of Geostorm (2017) by Erin C — 20 Oct 2017
The plot isn't bad, the problem is the acting is flat and humorless and there is little character development / relationships built. The movie just sorta tosses in the relationships without anything to hold them together.
The makers of Independence Day still haven't figured out what made ID4 so darned entertaining. You don't go to a disaster movie for intellectual stimulation, it's supposed to be fun. This one was predictable and forgettable.
