Review of Gerald's Game (2017) by Johann M — 21 Oct 2018
As much as I enjoyed this movie, the plot twist of "death" being a real figure really ruined some of the realism and suspense for me. Stephen King generally is a master of psychological horror, but by adding a real, criminal figure instead of what could have been an uncomfortably realistic depiction of figments of our imagination was ruined.
None the less, still a decent movie.
