Michael Caine can seem so soft and lovable. Yet here we get to see just mean and nasty he can be. Surrounded by classic gritty 70s settings, Caine grinds he way to the truth and his amoral journey see's him kill quite a few people, backed up by quite a jazzy score.
So much better than the remake with Stallone (and Caine)...
