Review of Get Carter (2000) by Laura F — 17 Jul 2012

This is not even my standard fare, but I felt Get Carter oozed with cool. Stallone is hot, genuine, and engaging. Three villains make it complex enough, and his relationship with the girl, Rachel Leigh Cook has chemistry.

There were a couple lines I would have trimmed, but otherwise I thought it was pretty tight and well-made. Props to Director Stephen Kay. Granted, I've never seen the original, so I'm judging it on it's own merits.

The soundtrack is excellent and worth buying.
