The orginal wasn't as good as it was made out to be - rambling and overly complex. This is even worse. Even more random, with several trangential scenes that add nothing to the plot.
Sylvester Stallone is his usual grunting, wooden self. Supporting cast is very interesting, and star-studded: Michael Caine (obviously a homage to the original, and something they through in for the "Interesting facts" section), Mickey Rourke, Alan Cumming, Rhona Mitra, Miranda Richardson, Rachael Leigh Cook, John C McGinley.
