Review of Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence (2004) by Kilo54 — 03 Apr 2016
Ghost in the Shell: Innocence was an entertaining watch, and fans of the original film will appreciate the continuity and small touches in reference to the 1995 original. The artwork, sound and most other elements deliver in similar fashion, but the excess of literary quotes, like a high schooler attempting to hit a in-line quote quota in an essay, bog down the film significantly and made the OK plot harder to follow.
I doesn't quite match the original, but it is a decent follow-up.
