Review of Ghost in the Shell (2017) by Adam T — 31 May 2017
Live action remake of the Japanese anime original, Ghost In the Shell is very impressive in most aspects (especially the stunning futuristic world in which The Major played by Scarlett Johansson runs around in- often naked).
Her backstory was always a little thin and not a great deal has been added to it to justify a slightly longer running time than the original, but it is a very cool attempt at futurist noir. Juliet Binoche also does her character's death scene very elegantly.
