Review of Glass (2019) by Ian M — 22 Jan 2019
An ambitious work, Glass continues to center around the theme of questioning ones own (supernatural) abilities, and weaves together a pretty good plot line and a large cast of unique characters from the previous films.
James McAvoy's acting while not as initially shocking, is just as invigorating as his previous work with the role(s). While Mr. Glass's scheme seems a bit dull deja vu, the plot remains interesting when it takes a turn from what appears will be a sterotypical chase scene to final battle turns into somewhat of a far fetched ancient society of lets kill the superheros scheme? "This is what I believe they would call a showdown".
... really?!?!?! X'D Also Sarah Paulson & the extended dying scene of mr.glass/the overseerer was just alright... flawed, yet very entertaining film.
