Review of Glass (2019) by Federicosierra — 04 Feb 2019
GLASS will shatter the expectations of anyone who comes in looking for a satisfying conclusion to a trilogy that never was. Like both its predecessors, UNBREAKABLE and SPLIT, they are all standalone movies in their own right.
That being said, GLASS is an audacious social commentary about the superhero landscape that's been paved in mainstream cinemas. GLASS is a flawed movie, but I respect it for having its own identity, and even more for the reflective ending that makes us question who the villain really is.
