I may not be a smart man, but I know that's not how science works.
The script is dumb, but the actors are A-list and the spectacle is amazing. Edwards' visuals are top-notch, although there are certainly sloppy moments (how, for example can the dreamy Taylor-Johnson see the shore when he is collapsed on the deck of a boat?). Don't worry, just marvel.
