Review of Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019) by Rtheom — 01 Jun 2019

The 2014 movie was a terrible Godzilla movie and a mediocre action movie. This is a terrible a Godzilla movie and a terrible action movie. Once again, America continues to prove that it just cannot do a proper Godzilla film. We get maybe 7 minutes of monster screen time instead of the 5 minutes in the last movie. Hardly an improvement. The characters are all completely ridiculous or pointless and there is nothing interesting going on between the half-second monster fights.

The one good thing about this is that it means we're going to get a freakin' sweet Godzilla movie from TOHO in the next year or so.
