Review of Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019) by Ratedrex — 01 Jun 2019
Too dark. Too cloudy. Too rainy. Horrible plot. Bad writing. Bad direction. Bad acting. Not much Rodan or Mothra. Not enough Godzilla. Not enough Ghidorah. Not enough monster fights. Way too much human stuff.
Special effects weren't that impressive, especially Ghidorah, who looked cheaply designed. Worst of all, the movie was boring. The best things about the movie was the music and the atomic Godzilla at the end.
What an enormously missed opportunity. If Godzilla vs Kong is no better than this, the franchise will be doomed.
