Review of Gretel & Hansel (2020) by Palpetinesheev — 11 May 2020
A visually gorgeous update on a classic fairy-tale. It's definitely a slow-burn movie, but it is never unengaging and is the perfect length. Alice Krige and Sophia Lillis are pretty great, and it has the best score of the year so far.
I know that this review is going to get down-voted to hell. That's fine by me. I'm just expressing the fact that I had a fantastic time, but I definitely understand why others hated it.
