Review of Grindhouse (2007) by Adam R — 10 Sep 2011
Fair warning to anyone, if you get to your point of adding Grindhouse to your Blu Ray collection, buy it, but watch Planet Terror with audience reaction commentary. This was our experience in the drive-in.
Everyone simply going bat shit, up in arms and cheering every scene but once you come to the last set of faux trailers make sure you get Death Proof extended and an uncut. Some critics came down on Death Proof due to its pacing leading to it's chopping block for 15 minutes of solid footage, among that footage being a better take from Rose McGowan in her last stand (seat for that matter), an incredible lap dance, a toe licking and much, much better editing and pacing.
If your a true Tarantino fan do not let the uncut version pass you by, it's not worth it.
