Review of Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) by R E — 09 Nov 2018
One of the rare 5-stars given by me to an MCU film, this is a stellar release that is unexpected. The rag-tag team is strong, with great performances throughout (excluding the weak villain), who are all driven by a good plotline bursting at the seams with excellent sequences that blend comedy and action masterfully.
It is endlessly rewatchable, leaving the audience scrambling for the soundtrack. The visuals are also to be boasted of, and overal this film is a dream for comic-book fans and fans of great blockbuster cinema.
