By not taking itself quite as seriously as its predecessor, G of G Vol. 2 is a fantastic space epic, with well-timed, though often rudimentary, humor, tempered themes, pleasingly circularity, and, of course, plenty of classic rock.
By playing to the story's strengths, which this time were Drax, Rocket, and the unforgettable Baby Groot, Vol. 2 is the epitome of a fun, well-paced, and memorable viewing experience.
