Review of Hacksaw Ridge (2016) by Dan P — 28 May 2017
A good movie, but it put me to sleep during the movie. I would wake up to a massive battle field. There were a lot of bloody scenes as you would expect in a war film, but Mel Gibson goes overboard as he has a reputation to (Passion of the Christ).
It is a touching love story, but there was too much violence where it had already made its point. The music was superb.
