Review of Halloween (2018) by Anthony P — 18 Oct 2018
Michael Myers is back in what can only be described as one of the most brutal incarnations yet. This takes place directly after the very first film which makes it a kind of reboot that really works with a great storyline that operates fluidly.
The violence follows the character nicely and Myers truly embodies "the shape". Jamie Lee Curtis is great in the film as a character with PTSD that has harnessed it into the ultimate showdown shrouded in fate.
Halloween is up there with A Quiet Place and Hereditary as a fantastic horror film on the year and hope people clamour to see it. Solid 4/5.
