It's a slasher movie that knows it's source material and gives you what you want. There are a few time the camera work and directing do something new and interesting for slasher films and it keeps things interesting.
Halloween does great staying true to the original and using an icon that we have all become familiar with. I am going to watch this again. Then buy it. It's good.
