Absolutely average sequel - the high praise is just baffling. Character storylines which go nowhere leaving you feeling no emotional connection & not really caring who goes next. The comedy in the dialogue felt forced & borderline cringeworthy.
It still is watchable (just) & not quite as terrible as some sequels to other slasher franchises, but I certainly wouldnâ(TM)t go out of my way to see it. I actually preferred H20 over this.
