Not surprisingly the series has stalled out by its 5th installment. The story is rather dull, the acting is poor and the whole thing just feels unnecessary. What made Michael Myers scary was his presence and how rarely you actually saw him.
After 4 films he just really is not that scary anymore. It certainly is not the worst horror/slasher film but it's not worth watching either. The only time I will watch this is if its on TV as a part of a Halloween marathon.
