I think it's far better than the original. I'm not sure what all the negative reviews are about. It's not as boring(and I love the original too), it's faster paced, the acting is better overall, the kills are better, the nudity is better.
Everything is better in Halloween II than the original. It has a more rewatchabilty factor to it. I never understood the negative criticisms. It's a fantastic movie. Two thumbs way up!
